Melting Pot

So last night Matt and I finally went out for dinner to celebrate our 4 year anniversary. My parents watched Ethan and Matt and I went out to the Melting Pot! YUMMY! We only go there once a year... on our anniversary...because it is SO expensive. Thankfully my parents give us money each year so we can treat ourselves to a nice romantic night out. Now in the past we've noticed that at the Melting Pot there are two rows of private tables in the back of the restaurant. They are private booths that even have a curtain you can close. Where do you think they sat us last night? In the private booth! It felt so weird. They closed the curtain and knocked anytime they came to check on us. We just laughed and joked because last time we were there we saw a couple making out through a crack in their curtain. How sketchy. ha ha. ANYHOW, dinner was yummy! We started off with a mexican cheese fondue. Our dippers were bread cubes, vegetables and apples. Then our main course was terriyaki steak, chicken, filet mignon and other meats cubed that we cook in our own pot along with vegetables. Our dessert was a chocolate and peanut butter fondue and our dippers were bananas, strawberries, cubed brownies, pound cake, cheesecake and marshmallows. We were SO full by the end of the meal. We had a great time and can't wait for next year already, ha ha!
